-The octave is as the one day of slavery what do they have to do what they gotten through all the problems and issue that happen in their living as a slave. -Song of the son metaphor is compared with plum because of the dark color and how hard their life was as a squeezed plum at the pine tree. From the darker tower metaphor is use as to compare the dark night to them of how quiet it is at night compared with their pain that even it's painful but all they can do is just quiet. A Black Man Talks of Reaping metaphor is as hoe salve were treated as if they were a plants that the owner can do anything to it leave it to die or reap it to eat either way the plant still lose as they were treated bitterly as even the fruit is the sweetest in the world but it would would be bitter from what it have been through.
7. Cite Evidence How does Toomer's use of repetition -of both lines and important ideas- contribute to the aesthetic impact of"Song of the Son"?
-It gave the true feeling of how the author feel is like when you got through so much that you can say anything but just one sentence and I thin that's what the author think. The one sentence that shows the feeling of what really happen to the slave.
